No. EJG-OS is 100% local. All automations, voice control, and device management run on your hardware without any internet dependency. Internet is optional for remote access and monitoring features.
What devices are compatible with EJG-OS?

Any Z-Wave or Zigbee device works. We also support Wi-Fi devices like TP-Link Kasa lights and switches. Our installer network can advise on specific device compatibility for your setup during consultation.
Can I add devices after installation?

Yes! Your installer can add devices anytime you want. Devices pair directly to your local hub. You can even add some devices yourself by following simple pairing steps provided by your installer.
Is there a monthly fee?

No mandatory monthly fees. You pay once for installation and hardware. Optional 24/7 professional monitoring is available for $29/month, but it's completely optional and can be cancelled anytime.
What if my installer leaves or I want to change?

You own your hardware and EJG-OS system. Any certified installer can help you. You're not locked into one installer. Switching is as simple as finding a new installer in your area.
Does it work with voice assistants like Alexa or Google?

Yes! EJG-OS includes our built-in "Hey Skip" voice assistant. You can also integrate with Alexa or Google Home if you prefer. Full flexibility—your choice.
